Who We are
Faith Assembly of God is affiliated with the Assemblies of God in Springfield, Missouri, but embraces people from a variety of theological backgrounds. We believe that unity is achieved by focusing on the Person and work of Jesus Christ rather than minor doctrinal differences.
Faith Assembly of God is a congregation-owned fellowship of believers, operating under a constitution and bylaws. The membership of the assembly is the governing body of the church. The Board of Ministry, approved by the membership, meets regularly to seek God's leadership for the corporate body, and take care of the regular business of Faith Assembly. In addition to the Board of Ministry, the pastoral staff and other leadership give input and direction in helping to carry out the work of the ministry.
Faith Assembly of God's vision is to "Build a Generation of Faith” Jesus commanded us to Go and make disciples and that is our goal.. Reaching, Discipling, Training, and Sending are all a integral part of all we do. Our missions program is a vital part of who we are. Not only do we send but we also offer many opportunities for those in our congregation to go, through short term missions trips.

The History of the Assemblies of God Fellowship
The General Council of the Assemblies of God (USA), one of the largest Pentecostal denominations in the United States, was organized in 1914 by a broad coalition of ministers who desired to work together to fulfill common objectives, such as sending missionaries and providing fellowship and accountability. Formed in the midst of the emerging worldwide Pentecostal revival, the Assemblies of God quickly took root in other countries and formed indigenous national organizations.
The Assemblies of God (USA) is a constituent member of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship – one of the largest Pentecostal fellowships in the world. The national headquarters of the Assemblies of God is located in Springfield Missouri and the North Texas District Headquarters is in Waxahachie, Texas.
