We would like to adopt at least 5 families per Christmas season. Parents will be able to visit our Shop to choose from a large variety of gifts for their child/children according to age. We will have a variety of board games, movies, puzzles, books, art supplies, and stockings w/stuffers.
We will provide parents with enough wrapping paper to wrap all their gifts. A small Christmas tree will also be available for families that need one. Parents with newborns, in addition to all their gifts, will be given a package of diapers, a package of wipes, bath soap, and lotion.
How This Ministry Started
“While my husband and I were in the military, we did not know how we were going to afford Christmas for our 2 small children. We received a phone call from the USO in San Diego inviting us to pick out Christmas at one of their facilities."
"I must say, that experience has truly impacted my life. Something I will never forget. And because of the situation that I found myself in, I have started a similar project here in Panola County, Santa’s Shop. Helping others has become a huge desire of mine and with God’s help and yours; we can help the children of Panola County."
"Please help anyway you can. We are asking for monetary donations, new unwrapped toys, and nominations of families that need help with Christmas.” – Pamela Sturm
